What format are the photos in?
All 1 on 1 Digital photos are converted to JPG format. If another format is need, simply contact us.
What file resolutions do you sell?
It depends on the photo. For sports events, I am able to sell low res files up to mid res and full (high) res files at different prices. The LOW res files are great for emailing and for website usage. MED res files are usefull for all the above, AND printing up to great 4x6 and nice 5x7 photographs. FULL res (high) are needed to make 8x10 and larger photographs and posters.
Why do the digital files cost more, especially the HIGH RES files?
Because it is the same as handing over the film negative. Most Professional Photographers charge no less than $45 for a single full resolution file.
Why do you recommend ordering "Packages" over individual prints?
Due to the variations in printers and fluctuations in color output, even by the most carefully monitored machines, to get a set of prints to look the same need to be ordered and printed at the same time.
Why do you sell only larger size prints, or only offer 4x6 and wallets when a "Package" is ordered?
Because taking the photo is only a fraction of the time it takes to prepare a digital photograph for delivery. For each image that is sold, there can be up to 1 full hour of post-production and editing to get the photograph looking the most professional. The computer hardware and software it takes to process these files in the "digital darkroom" easily runs into the ten's of thousands of dollars. The skills take years to learn. It it not cost effective for a business to sell one or two 4x6 prints for the time invested in preparing that file. Think of your child's school pictures; the only way to order a photo is by package pricing.
Do you add new events and photos on a regular basis?
Yes. We add photos as they are taken. Click on "Newest Photos" to see the latest photos that we have posted.
Can I submit photos to sell?
Right now the only photos that we sell are the ones taken by 1 on 1 Digital and it's partners. In the future we may consider this. If you would like to display your images on this website to sell, please contact us.
Do you offer refunds?
Once your purchase is made we can not offer a refund. The reason for this policy is because we offer full access to our entire digital collection of photos and, as such, there is no way for our products to be returned. On a rare occasion we will make exceptions on a case by case basis. If for some reason, you are not happy with the actual print, please call or email to have it reprinted after the return of the original.
Are there any restrictions on my use of the 1 on 1 Digital photos that I download?
Yes. While 1 on 1 Digital offers great freedoms and a wide ranges of uses, we do not allow the redistribution or reproduction of our photos, or allow the use of our photos within products that are mass distributed in any type of archive format.
If I purchase a subscription are there any other fees I will encounter when downloading from the site?
No, an unlimited membership allows you full access to download any photos on our site at no extra charge.
Is account sharing allowed?
No, sharing an account is no different than distributing our materials to others. Individual accounts must be purchased by your friends and colleagues.
